What is low-volume TAI?

Transanal irrigation (TAI) is a well-established bowel-emptying technique to help manage constipation and faecal incontinence. Low volume TAI instils up to 250 ml of water to irrigate the lower colon (rectum).

It is intended to be easy to use, so whether your patients are at home or on the go, they can carry out low-volume TAI and experience the relief Peristeen Light can bring.
